Hello,
I have a customer that is currently using DriverDisc version 3 as
documented here [1]. They would like to know if there is a way to make this
method only install drivers for the appropriate hardware. For example, if
it's a VMware instance, do nothing. Here are the customer's actual words.
"Make a driver disk with more than one driver, install a VM with the
appropriate arguments to utilize the drivers, and see how many get
installed. If one or more drivers that are not appropriate to the VM are
installed, then the process is broken."
Also, is there a technical/business reason why we don't support this method
officially?
Thanks
